After vasectomy, will my hubbys ejaculation decrease in quantity? -

I had a vasectomy. Nothing noticeable changed. I do not even have a scar. If he had it done, and did not tell you, there is no way you could ever tell.

Unfortunately most people are like -sonny- above. Most do not know the difference between semen and sperm. Almost everything you will ever hear about a vasectomy is urban legend.

The amount of semen he ejaculates depends on his overall health, hydration, etc. It has nothing to do with having had a vasectomy.

In both the human medicine literature and mammalian research, vasectomy is associated with a decrease in semen volume. The best human study showed a drop of roughly 40% from 5 ml to 3 ml.

Here is a study in rams showing a greater than 50% decrease in ejaculate volume:
In the first ejaculate obtained 14 days post vasectomy all rams showed a significant (P - 0.05) drop in mean volume (from 1.2 to 0.5 mL), total sperm count (from 5176.8 to 51.1 x 10(6)) and morphologically normal sperm (from 84.1 to 15.7%), when compared to the last prevasectomy collection.

Vasectomy causes notable and distressing sexual side effects in about 2 to 5% of men (based on post-vasectomy surveys).

Do a Yahoo search for -vasectomy pain- and you-ll see hundreds of hits and websites dedicated to trying to warn men about the possible side effects of vasectomy. Still, 90% of men are satisfied with vasectomy. You just don-t want to e in that other 10%.

Possibly, but I believe that is only temporary. You can call the doctor who performed the vasectomy and ask, or look on Web MD. My ex had a vasectomy and it didn-t affect things, except getting pregnant!
What a vasectomy does is block only the sperm cells, which are microscopic, and doesn-t affect the man parts that produce the semen itself. The only way to tell the difference is to look at the ejaculate with a microscope.
im sorry but thats a good one to ask, i thought that after the operation that he would not be able to have sperm , maby someone can say, as a friend is conciddering this way,,
No, the quantity will be the same.

Pre-ejaculation? -

Pre-ejaculation? -

When a man ejaculates sperm comes out. Does pre-ejaculation occur directly before that happens or anytime a man is aroused?

Well kind of BOTH.

It happens BEFORE we ejaculate..it-s what lubricates the tubes, if you will, so the sperm can come out.

Some men do pre-ejaculate when they get excited, they get -wet-.

Not trying to be obscene, just answering your question!

:)
You-re welcome!

Fluid comes out to clean out the urinary track first. Urine kills sperm
Both are true. When a man is aroused, he could have drops of his fluid ooze out. That could happen in conjuction with, or without an ejaculation.
It usually occurs in the beginning stages of arousal. But it can occur anytime during it.
A guy can ejaculate at any minute of his erection. But premature ejaculation is normal. You can tell the difference between the two by premature ejaculation is when the guy feels it come out with little pleasure though, and ejaculation is with the full pleasure.
You must be a virgin or you would know that. Your answer is yes there is precum semen that comes out the head of the penis before ejaculation
Can come out anytime when aroused and can contain sperm.
Pre-ejaculate (also known as pre-ejaculatory fluid or Cowper-s fluid, and colloquially as precum) is the clear fluid that is issued from a man-s penis when he is sexually aroused. The fluid is usually secreted by Cowper-s glands during masturbation, foreplay or at an early stage during sex, some time before the man fully reaches orgasm and semen is ejaculated.
before
It can happen anytime he has been aroused for awhile. It would never happen immediately nor would it be immediately before ejaculation either.
before
Pre-ejaculation is supposed to be a form of lube that the penis natural lets out. This happens when a man is very very aroused or about to have sex.
