Why do men worry about this? My new bf is much older and worries about premature ejacualation. While we are making love, he thinks about unpleasant things to help him last longer. I don-t think its a problem because it just means we can do it again later. Hope this helps.

One of the newest and most effective remedies is taking low dosages of selective serotonin uptake inhibitors...drugs like Paxil, Lexapro etc. which are normally used as antidepressants. As many people who have taken these drugs (me included) the time to orgasm is delayed and in some cases, stopped. The first time I had sex after I started taking Lexapro, I went over 45 minutes and never did ejaculate (wife loved it)....of course, all these drugs REALLY hammer you libido and in some cases eliminate it. One of the reasons I quit taking Lexapro was because it killed my sex drive. For every benefit, there is a price to pay.
