Does Zoloft really delay ejaculation?? -

Does Zoloft really delay ejaculation?? -

My doctor recently changed my anti-depressant meds from Effexor to Zoloft. I did some research and found that Zoloft can cause delayed ejaculation. Has anyone experienced this? Is this a blessing in disguise? How long did you last? What can I expect?
I was on Zoloft and could not get an erection, or at least a good one. Prior to the meds, I had no problems, so I know it was not in my head(at least the one on my shoulders!). As far as delayed reaction, I cant say, cause I couldnt get there in the first place. But the two do seem to go hand in hand.

I asked the Dr if there was another med that did not have this side affect. I was given Wellbutrin (or buproprion is the generic name) and I sprang back like a champ.

With these drugs, you may have to try several until you get the right one. You also have to figure out what is the worse affliction, and which is more important to treat.

Good luck.
Any antidepressant can cause sexual issues, but they don-t cause sexual issues in every person that takes them. I would think that if you aren-t having problems after being on it for a week, that you probably won-t.
You should see signs anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks for max effect, you could also suffer from ED
god it can make you not be able to ejaculate at all! now maybe i can get my nut about once a week- at least it-s a hella good one when i do
