My boyfriend is an antidepressants and has trouble with ejaculation, has anyone heard of this before? -
He is also on Blood pressure meds. Had no trouble before
Sometimes medication reduces the sex drive. Consult with a doctor who is trained, qualified, and licensed to give medical advice. People on this site are not!!

true no one here is a Doc, but that doesn-t mean we can-t tell our experience. If you go on a med-s website, it lists side effects, its common knowldge

Even if all he took was bloodpressure meds, this alone can cause erection problems. Add to that the other antidepressants, the poor guy-s body is being injured from these poisons. Get him off the meds - he should be fine.
yup....totally can be a side effect from the medication....have him talk to his doctor about it......there are alternatives.....more than likely the blood pressure medicine causing the problem.
I am no physician and I suggest he go see one. That is not normal for a man to go through. Please stop putting this on the Internet. Some people don-t want to answer stuff like this. It is not right. thank you
One of the main side affects, well, not the main, but one they are supposed to let you know about and one that folks are the most concerned about. When you add that along with the blood pressure meds, some people have varying degrees of side affects.....some more than others. I myself have had problems, I take both, Paxil and Lisinopril, problems do arise, I have an understanding mate, which is what your boyfriend needs right about now......it sounds like you are. Like me, it sounds like your mate needs to take those meds, so it requires patience and diligence, with the loving partner you seem to be, you and him can overcome this problem.......GOOD LUCK........LATER
YUP...These are famous sex drive killers...Especially blood PRESSURE meds, Since pressure is what is required... Next time he goes to the Dr. have him bring this up. Some combinations aren-t as bad as others...

Yes. My husband and I were just talking about that last night. Certain antidepressants delay ejaculation. I would have him talk to his doctor. There are probably others that do not have this effect.
