Premature Ejaculation: Doctors Controversial Answer? -

Premature Ejaculation: Doctors Controversial Answer? -

So, I go to the doctor and tell him about my problem with PE. I told him i-v tried everything else and id like to try SSRI-s. He goes and talks with his student doctor in the other room.

He comes back, and tells me for: For my own spiritual reasons I cannot help you persue Sex with a female, you are not married to.

I thought this was ridiculous, as I already explained that I only have sex with my girlfriend (of 13 months), with protection.

He still would not help me, and refered me to another doctor (hopefully more progressive).

Is this right?! Do doctors actually refuse helping people due to personal experience?

I live in Canada. This isn-t mecca.

That s not right, he could get in serious trouble for pushing his beliefs on you.I have seen docs get fired for this..SSRIs do help for this and a Urologist has tx to for this also so don-t be discouraged..get a new doctor!!
Well, a doctor is allowed to have his beliefs, just as you or I am allowed to.
I would simply go to a different doctor, one that is more up to date with modern society.

Maybe it-s against his religion O_o
I would make a complaint against the College of Physicians concerning this doctor. He should be required by the college to post a huge sign outside his office saying, -Don-t waste your time sitting two hours in my waiting room as I will just refer you to a real doctor where you will have to wait another two hours to get what you really needed-
This is one of the most ridiculous things I-ve heard. He shouldn-t do that. Have you tried last-longer? They-ve worked for my cousin, and I suggest you use them.

that-s ridiculous !!!!!...go to the other docotor
That-s stupid, doctors turn you away and don-t help you and tell you the full story when YOU-RE obligated to be completely honest with them? What are they lawyers in disguise or something?

But I wrote about how to prevent from PE in my sex blog at

hope you get a chance to read it.

Some doctors do that, and so do some pharmacists! When you call this new doc, before you make the appointment, ask if he has any ethical restrictions helping those who suffer from P/E. That way you don-t waste your time or his. And if you had to pay any money for the first appointment, I would ask for a refund cause you were not provided with the service you came to see him for!
