Ejaculation/orgasm problems I am a 53 year old male in good health - I exercise sufficiently + a healthy diet. -
During my early 40-s I quite suddenly began to experience pain when ejaculating. At first I thought it was a temporary infection but I never returned to normal. After recent medical checks I discovered my prostate had slightly enlarged (though no cancer) so maybe this has led to the pain/lack of any kind of -force- during ejaculation/reduced ejaculate/no orgasm. Now not surprisingly I have much less desire + I can hardly be bothered to have sex. Can I rectify this problem or is it just the ageing process? I do not have any problems achieving an erection .
Sure is nice to see women giving good answers about our prostate problems. As you probably know, the prostate produces the ejaculatory fluid that, when sperm is supplied by the testicles, becomes what we call -semen-. If the semen does not have a clear path out of the prostate during orgasm, it builds up causing pressure and pain. Minor surgery can clear the passages to allow for a painless orgasm. I wouldn-t want to have sex either if it caused pain. See your doctor and enjoy many more years of sex.
tell the doctor all of you symptoms and he should be able to take care of the problem for you.
talk to your doctor. could be more problems with the prostate, although if you don-t have problems urinating, maybe not. i-d have it checked out anyway. A good sexual life/appetite is part of psychological and emotional wellbeing.
I sure wouldn-t put any stock into answers given on a on-line Q-A board. Check with a Urologist and be absolutely honest of all the symptoms and sexual history you have.
