If you masturbate, try bring yourself right to the edge of orgasm but don-t let yourself. Instead, hold it in. Wait a minute or so and then do it again. Do it a few more times and after a while you-ll condition yourself to know where your -point of no return- is and you-ll know when its time to slow down or stop and direct your attention somewhere else while you calm down and are ready to go again. It also helps not to focus on the orgasm. This is the mental part.
The physical part comes into play by being able to squeeze and prevent ejaculation. Next time you-re peeing, stop and take notice of what muscles you squeezed to make it stop. Then, next time you-re sitting down somewhere, work out these muscles by squeezing and holding for 10 seconds at a time. These exercises are called Kegels. Eventually you-ll strengthen the muscles and be able to hold in ejaculations better.

Its true that it is mainly mental. Try doing the exercises that have been talked about. They can add some time but not a lot though. The one thing that helped me the most was a topical cream. It added a good thirty minutes to my time. It really changed my sex life. Good luck,
